Nestled in the heart of Cassava Piece Road, Kingston 8, Constant Spring Primary and Infant School has been a cornerstone of educational excellence in St. Andrew parish for over five decades. Since opening our doors in 1973, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to nurturing young minds and providing quality education to children in our vibrant community.
What began as Constant Spring All Age school was born from necessity - to serve children in the area who needed educational opportunities. Our journey of growth and adaptation reflects our dedication to meeting our community's evolving needs. In 1993, we embraced change through the Ministry of Education's Reform of Secondary Education (R.O.S.E.), transitioning to a Primary and Junior High school format. By 2018, we refined our focus further, becoming the specialized Primary and Infant institution we are today.
Currently serving approximately 420 students in our Primary department and 70 in our Infant department, we pride ourselves on creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Under the dedicated leadership of Principal Shay Dillon and Vice Principal Michelle Wiggins, our school community flourishes with the support of our committed board of directors, chaired by Howard Chamberlain Jr.
Beyond academics, we understand that a child's well-being encompasses all aspects of their daily experience. Our on-site tuck shop and canteen ensure students have access to nutritious snacks and freshly prepared meals, supporting both their physical health and academic success as they persevere for excellence each day.
